It has been a week since Thomas was born and it has been smooth so far. Grandma and Grandpa Church were here for a whole week helping out with Thomas, Oscar, and playing with me. Grandpa did a bunch of fixing for us like 'Handy Manny' and did a awesome job. Thomas has been sleeping great at night, and has been eating a ton. We already had bunch of visitors come by like Uncle Jeff, Auntie Jen, Cousin Sadie, Grandma Schmidt, Big Grandma, Auntie Jen and Mandy. They all say that Thomas is a good baby and I am good big sister. Next week is when reality will hit as dad goes back to work, so stay tuned.

Just got home

Well it's official I am a big sister!!!! Thomas Wayne Schmidt was born on Monday October 19, 2009 1:33 am at St. B Hospital. He weighed in at 9lbs 12ozs and was 23 inches long. Mom and Dad left at midnight on Sunday and good thing they did because they were only at the hospital for half an hour before Thomas was born, MOM IS A SUPERSTAR! Everyone is back at home with Grandma and Grandpa Church who came in for the week and have been helping everyone get back into the swing of things. Everyone is doing great and I am so excited to be a big sister that I have decided to share my blog with my baby brother.

New Cousin!!!

I am very excited to announce that Auntie Jenny and Uncle Jeff had a baby girl Friday October 16th. She was 6lbs 7oz and her name is Sadie Elizabeth Church. Everyone is doing great!! I have my first girl cousin....YAY!!! Congratulations Jeff and Jenny :D

It has been a busy couple of weeks here at the Schmidt house. We had tons of visitors with Cousin Blaine hanging out a couple weekends ago, and then Auntie Karen came and helped Mom get ready for baby for four days. Thank you Auntie Karen for hanging out with me everyday! (Oscar says thanks too!) Then last weekend Uncle Jeff, Auntie Jen, and Grandma and Grandpa Church all come over for Thanksgiving. I even got to talk to my cousins, Luke, Dean, and Wes on the computer in Phoenix. Happy 2nd Bday Wes and 7th Bday Dean!!! Grandma cooked a super yummy supper on Sunday, and everyone was so sore after eating too much. We are officially on baby watch for mom as she is getting closer to her due date. So keep in touch!
