My Christmas Day outfit
New shoes from Auntie Kristin
All my Church cousins
Dad helping me with my present opening
Well it was my first Christmas and believe it or not there wasn't even any snow. We all flew down to Phoenix to Uncle Brad's place for the big day. Grandma Church, Grandpa Church, Uncle Jeff, Auntie Jen, Mom, Dad and I all flew down on Christmas Eve at 9:30 am. I was awesome on the plane because I slept for the first two hours and then I just hung the last hour. Uncle Brad has a great big house for me, cousin Luke, cousin Dean and cousin to all play in. Last night we had turkey dinner, well I didn't, but everone else did and we waited for Santa Claus to come. This morning we woke up at 7:00 am there was a bunch of presents under the tree. I got a bunch of cool gifts including my new Christmas Day outfit. Today we are just veggin out playing playstation, Uncle Brad is playing Guitar Hero III, Luke and Dean are playing baseball, and having lot of naps. I hope everyone is having a great Christmas and we'll see you all when we get home on New Year's Eve. I'll keep you posted here in Phoenix because we got a bunch more stuff to do.

Sitting in my Highchair

Sitting in the highchair for the first time and loving it.
Mom and me after decorating the house. I liked sitting in this box for a while.....
....guess not.
I must be getting teeth soon because this feels so good.
I'm getting pretty good at this sitting thing....
especially with toys everwhere.
I has been a couple busy weeks here in Winnipeg. It has been snowing lots and lots which means dad is shovelling lots and lots. We made a trip to Dauphin for a weekend just to visit my grandmas and grandpa. I showed everyone how good I am at sitting now, and even show interest in Dad's beer. I might be a little young for a beer, but I seem to always want my dad's. This last week we decorated the house for Christmas, and even got me a high chair. I like sitting in it, but I havn't tested out the eating part yet. Mom says I get to try to eat something soon. This last weekend we went over to Cousin Andy and her new fiance Mark, CONGRATULATIONS! Actually Oscar made a girlfriend too, they have a boxer named Callie. Mom and dad are going out this weekend, so that means Grandma and Grandpa Church are coming into to visit and babysit, YAY. Also I get to go to my first band concert next week at Dads school. I'll let you know how I do when they play that first note.

Ticket to Heaven

I am wearing my mom's baptismal gown.
My Cake! Everyone all dressed up.
I didn't like the water.
My god mother Tommie.
It's almost over!
I had a big day on November 17th, 2007 because it was the day I got Baptised. We went to the Blessed Sacrment Church at 5:00 pm to get my ticket to heaven. My God Mother is my Auntie Tommie and my God Father is Uncle Brad. I did so good through the Mass but I didn't like the water or the oil that Father Owen used on my head - it made me cry. So many people came to the church including Grandma Schmidt, Grandma and Grandpa Church, Greatgrandma McLaren, Greatgrandma Helen and Greatgrandpa McDill, Papa Church, Great Auntie Bonnie, Uncle Chuck, Cousin Morgan, and Brooklyn. Great Auntie Karen and Uncle Kirk, Cousin Andy and some of my friends Cote, Crystal, Graham and Andrea. We then went back to our house and it was packed full of people. So many people bought me so many nice gifts, and hung out eating and drinking. I had a great time and thank everyone so much for making the trip!

Almost 5 Months Old Already!

Sitting Up!!
Falling Over :) Playing with Deano
Hanging out in the circle of neglect
It has been a busy couple of weeks. I have started to sit up by myself, but I still tip over after a couple minutes. I'm still going to Bumblebee class with Dean and at last class one my friends crawled over and scratched my face. I screamed so loud that I made him cry. Mom says I am a drama queen. Dean came over today to hang out for awhile, and we just ended up falling asleep. It started to snow outside today, so I thought I better put on my touque to keep my head warm. I'm turning 5 months on sunday and Mom is hoping it's almost time to start sleeping through the night. I'll let you know how that goes.

Halloween..........and a Duck?

Me and Dad at his school.
My awesome Duck costume.
I look like my pumpkin friends. Dean and I shutting it down after Bumblebee class.
Wow was my first halloween a busy one, plus I'm still not feeling well. First, I went to my bumblebee class with Dean and I went in my Duck costume. We were so pooped from the class that we both fell asleep in the back seat. I stayed asleep for a while at home, and then mom felt the need to take a hundred pictures of me which wasn't too bad. Finally, we went out and saw dad at his school to show everyone my costume, and everyone thought I was so cute. Since I am completely exhausted I think I'm going to shut it down while dad hands out all the candy to the kids. What a great first halloween!

A Little Sick

Runny nose and itchy eyes!
Hanging out with my friend Dean from across the street.
Oscar really likes me, actually he won't leave me alone. The day I got my second set of needles.
Carving pumpkins with my mom.
My first Halloween!
First of all, sorry I have been gone for so long. Things here have been really busy and then the computer started acting funny, but now we're back in business. Lots has been going on lately so let me get you up to date. First of all I'm sick with a runny nose and cough I got from mom, but it isn't anything too serious. I got my second set of needles last week and I only cried for like 2 minutes and then I was alright. Doctor L says I look great and here are my stats; 26 inches tall, 43 cm head circumference and 14.4 pounds. I have been going to my bumblebee classes with my friend Dean from across the street for last the couple weeks. I get to sing and dance with mom for a whole hour. Finally, it is almost my first halloween and we carved up our pumpkins for the big day. You'll have to check back tomorrow to see what I am going to be for halloween and hear how much candy I get for my mom and dad.

Found my toes

Look what I found
Dad thinks I'm a hat I like it here
It has been a fun week so far with dad being around so much. He carries me around all the time and even uses me as a hat which I think is wierd. Believe it or not I found my toes this week. All I do is grab them with both of my hands, but I'm not too sure if I know they belong to me yet. Mom and I are going to our second 'Bumblebee Class' on wednesday and a we went for a visit across the street to see Dean. We have had a couple play dates, but I really wouldn't call them 'Play' dates. We just lay around and make wierd noise. It's going to be a fun weekend with both grandma's coming into town. Grandma Schmidt is coming in with Auntie Jen for a vball tournament and Grandma and Grandpa Church are coming in to watch Cousin Paul play CIAU football. It's going to be fun one!

Greatgrandpa Don and Greatgrandma Helen Wedding

Cutting their cake at the reception.
I got to dance with Greatgrandma Helen..... Greatgrandpa Don (although all I wanted was his thumb)..... and Mom. I got see a bunch of cousins again like Michelle and Gord...
and Cousin Meg.
I love parties!
This last weekend was a super busy one. First Dad, Mom, Oscar, Me and dad's volleyball team all travelled to Dauphin on friday morning. First thing Dad had to go and coach his volleyball team in the Dauphin Clipper Classic while mom and I hung out at Grandpa and Grandma Church's. Dad's team finished 3rd in the tournament on Saturday and then we went to Greatgrandpa Don and Greatgrandma Helen's wedding. It was a ton of fun and of course I was a great baby. Mom and dad had a blast and tons of help from everyone during the night. I slept that night at Grandma Tenley's where I slept in till 10:00 am. Dad was so greatful because I guess he had a bad headache for some reason. Then on sunday we had a Thanksgiving party at Uncle Rob and Patties where I got to see everyone one more time. That night I slept for the longest yet, almost 8 hours straight, from 3 am to 11 pm. What a crazy weekend, and now it's back to reality in Winnipeg.

Almost tall as......

Almost tall as the couch.
Heads up! I'm getting good at this.
Things at home are going good. My mom keeps on putting me on my stomach for what she calls "tummy time" and at first I hated it, but I think i'm getting good at it. Grandma and Grandpa Church have been visiting the last couple weekends, because Grandpa has been helping dad with building a new fence, and I think that Grandma can't be away from me longer than a week. Dad has been back at work for a month now and mom and I have been getting into a routine. Oscar continues to sniff and lick me, and I don't seem to mind. We are heading to Dauphin for Thanksgiving weekend for another party. Great Grandpa McDill is getting married and everyone is going to be there.
