We have had a busy couple of months here in Oakbank. We have big news....we are moving to Dauphin!! We have sold our house and Dad is going to be the band teacher at the high school in Dauphin. We are very excited to move home and we have a couple of pretty excited grandmas too! I am also very excited about my 3rd birthday tomorrow. I am going to go to Cathy's daycare for a cupcake birthday party with my friends and then we're going to Dauphin for a disney princess birthday at grandma's house on Saturday!! I am playing soccer for the first time, I usually like it. I am on the brown team, I really want to be on the bright purple team but I'm getting over it ;) Tommy-doo is doing great. He is loving his baby food, and he has 3 teeth. He gets around by rolling and spinning on his tummy, maybe thinking about crawling soon.

It has been 3 straight weeks of fun, but also busy. We first went down to Bismarck for Dad's spring break, and we survived our first family vacation. We stayed at a cool hotel where we had a awesome room, and cool pool. We did some serious relaxing and shopping down there. Then we came home for Easter where Grandma Church, Grandpa Church, Auntie Jen, Uncle Jeff, and Cousin Sadie all come over to visit. I also did my very first Easter Egg hunt, and actually liked carrying around my treats more then eating them. Mom and dad really liked that. We then went to Dauphin for an extra long weekend for dad's band stuff. I got to hang out and watch all the rehearsals, and I even named all the instruments. I LOVE BAND!!! Finally we made it back home this weekend and enjoyed the weather. We got outside to try my new bike and our chariot. It's time to get back into a routine at least that's what mom and dad are hoping for.

Spring time is in the air and we are getting ready to do some travelling. We are heading out for our first road trip as a family to Bismarck ND for dad's work thing. Good luck mom and dad,hahahahahhah! I am a big girl these days going on the potty almost all the time, and Thomas is starting to try and sit up by himself. I am enjoying dancing in the living room these days with mom, dad, Oscar, and Thomas as my audience. Mom would post a video but I insist on doing my dances in my princess undies. Mom says 'lets hope we grow out of that':)

Laughing! Thomas and Sadie. Sorry for the lack of updates, it has been a busy few weeks at the Schmidt house. We have been to Dauphin for a couple of visits. Uncle Jeff, Auntie Jenny and Sadie came for a visit. We finally went to the Healthy Baby group here in Oakbank and I love it! There is LOTS of babies and kids and nice ladies to play with me. The weather has been pretty nice so we've been getting outside lots, I like to help dad shovel the snow. Thomas is doing great. 16.5lbs and 28" at his four month check-up. He is rolling over and loves his jolly jumper!

It has been a great start to 2010. I have started to be pretty trustworthy when it comes to wearing panties and peeing in the potty. I haven't mastered the number 2 yet in the potty, but definitely aware of the issue. Thomas is growing so fast and is wearing my 6 -9 month old sleepers. He is very ticklish and mom seems to think its funny when she is the tickling him. Thomas has even started to sleep in his own crib for 4 to 5 hours at a time. The new year resolutions of potty training and sleeping in our own beds are right on track.

We had a wonderful Christmas. Our trip to Gillam was fun and luckily it didn't get REALLY cold until the day we left. Santa came and I was so excited to get the green balloon I asked him for. I also got a saxaphone and books....I must have a been a very good girl. After Christmas we spent a few days in Dauphin and grandma Tenley gave me a very exciting gift.....Princess Undies/motivation to finally use the potty! Other exciting news, Thomas has been sleeping through the night in his crib!! 2010 is off to a great start:D Hope you all had a great holiday. Happy New Year!!

We have been having a awesome week at the Schmidt house. Uncle Tannin has been here for week and is my new best friend. We played, went to band concerts, and hung out every morning. We had a party at our house yesterday to celebrate Winter Solstice. Actually it is was just because everyone at the party is going to be somewhere else on Christmas, so we had a pre christmas party. We had great supper that mom made, and I got to hang out with my cousins, Big Grandma, Uncle Tannin, Grandma, Uncle Chuck and Aunt Bonnie. This morning Thomas and I got to open presents and I am officially a princess. Thank you everyone for the awesome presents, and think of us on Christmas because we will be close to the North pole in Gillam Manitoba.

Where is Thomas?

Things have been getting into a pretty good routine around here lately. I still wake up at 6:30 am with Dad, and mom and Thomas get up around 8:00 or 9:00. Then we have breakfest and mom has to put down Thomas on the couch to feed me and he usually ends up falling asleep. We then play around the house and I like to put Thomas with all my other babies on the couch. Sometimes 'family nap time' occurs around 1:00, but not usually and then finally dad comes home. Thomas has been a great little brother but I think he is watching Oscar too much because it seems that when you put him down anywhere he falls asleep, oh well. I am super excited because dad is done work in two weeks, Uncle Tannin is coming to visit next week, were having a early Christmas party on the 19th, and then I going to visit my cousin Sadie for real Christmas. CRAZY!!!
