New Cousin!!!

I am very excited to announce that Auntie Jenny and Uncle Jeff had a baby girl Friday October 16th. She was 6lbs 7oz and her name is Sadie Elizabeth Church. Everyone is doing great!! I have my first girl cousin....YAY!!! Congratulations Jeff and Jenny :D

It has been a busy couple of weeks here at the Schmidt house. We had tons of visitors with Cousin Blaine hanging out a couple weekends ago, and then Auntie Karen came and helped Mom get ready for baby for four days. Thank you Auntie Karen for hanging out with me everyday! (Oscar says thanks too!) Then last weekend Uncle Jeff, Auntie Jen, and Grandma and Grandpa Church all come over for Thanksgiving. I even got to talk to my cousins, Luke, Dean, and Wes on the computer in Phoenix. Happy 2nd Bday Wes and 7th Bday Dean!!! Grandma cooked a super yummy supper on Sunday, and everyone was so sore after eating too much. We are officially on baby watch for mom as she is getting closer to her due date. So keep in touch!

We are getting excited for my new brother or sister to arrive, a few more weeks to wait. I have been helping mom and dad get the baby room ready, mostly I like to try to put on tiny baby clothes and walk around the house in very small baby pajamas. I also love to dress up like a ballerina and dance. We went to see the Backyardigan's in concert on the weekend, I LOVED it!! "Oh my god!! It was so fun!!"

It's back to work for dad today which means back to day care for me. I have been trying to get this potty thing down, but no success yet. I do enjoy reading a good book on there though. I hung out with mom and dad at the new house lots, and even helped paint the baby room. No touching anything and no talking were my instructions. We had a great end to the summer with Grandma Tenley coming into Winnipeg to visit and I got to go swimming down a big slide. We made it out to the lake one last time and had awesome weather for a week, but now it's back to reality and I think I like it.

It is a very exciting day at the Schmidt house because Dad turned 29 today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY OLD MAN!! It has been busy around here lately with Auntie Mandy staying with us because she is going to band camp at Dad's school. She has been practicing lots and doing great. I have included a small tour of our main floor and me singing. ENJOY!!

This is as deep as I like the water...little bit of a chicken:) Hanging out at Grandma's in Dauphin. We have been keeping very busy around here...which explains the lack of blogging, and mom forgot our camera charger in Pheonix in June...which explains the lack of pictures. Well we have moved to a new house, we now live in Oakbank...just outside of Winnipeg. New house came with a vegetable garden so mom and dad are having fun trying to figure out what everything is in there....dad "weeded" a few carrots yesterday (I think we need lessons from Uncle Ty and Carter) We have LOTS of kids in our new neighborhood so I love it so far. We have been spending some time up at the lake, I love "swimming" (I don't really want to go in over my ankles). And they tell me I'm going to be a big sister in October which I am not to sure about at all...should be interesting:) Oh ya...happy birthday to Oscar!

A little worried....I loved my big cousins.

I just returned from my trip down to Phoenix with Mom and Grandma on Friday and I turned TWO ON JUNE 11!!!!!!!! We were down there for a week to visit Uncle Brad, Auntie Kristin, and my cousins Luke, Dean and Weston. The weather was perfect it never got over 90 degrees and spent most of our time swimming, sliding, and had a blast. I am going for my two year check up tomorrow, so I'll let you know my stats.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's out there, hope you had a great day. We were very busy today. We let mom sleep in until 8, very unusual around here. We spent the whole day outside doing yard work and even took mom on a trip to the dump. Lucky mom! I slept through the dump trip, but it was a super fun day.

So I jumped the gun a little bit on my last post claiming it was Spring. Right after I said that it snowed another 7 inches, ooppps. Well I'm pretty sure that spring is here to stay as it is supposed to get up into the teens next week. We went home over dad's spring break, and got a chance to see everyone including Auntie Tommie and Uncle Tannin. When we came back home Auntie Jen has decided to stay with us for a little bit. I even learned her name already. I am definitely turning into a 'girly' girl as I love to dress up, and even convinced Oscar to play with me too. It's Easter weekend and Grandma and Grandpa Church have decided to come to visit and I even got to swimming at their hotel pool. I love to splash and go down the slide, but I seem to think I can swim by myself already. I hope everyone has a great Easter!!!!
