Here is me pushing my walker a couple weeks ago.  I am getting very good at it:)  I can also climb all the stairs and stand all by myself for a few seconds.  Mom is keeping the camera close to hopefully catch my first steps:)

I just returned from my third wedding this year.  We travelled to Red Deer for Mom's cousin Ryan and Claudia's wedding.  I was awesome on the plane ride to Calgary and even fell asleep during one of the worst landings mom and dad have ever been through.  We then jumped in a car with Uncle Jeffy and Auntie Jen and drove to Red Deer.  Everyone was already there and I was super friendly at the rehearsal.  The next day I went for my first swim with dad and loved it.  Can't wait to go again.

The day of the wedding it is was hot and sunny. The wedding ceremony was really nice although I had to leave half way through because I was chatty in church, but no crying.  It was a early night for me as I left after supper for bedtime.  Mom stayed and is still laughing about cousin Michelle and Dane's speech.  On Sunday we packed up and drove back to Calgary where I got to visit Uncle Tannin and check out his new pad.  It was really nice.  Thanks for hanging out with me Uncle Tannin and driving me to the airport :)

It has been a crazy couple of weeks here at the Schmidt house.  I started going to Itsy Bitsy Yoga with Mom.  We get to do funny yoga poses, eat grapes and read books it's awesome.  I also got sick last week and I am starting to feel like myself again.  I got a really stuffy and runny nose, no fun!  I can't sleep very good so the car seat, high chair and on mom seem to be the best places to get some rest.  This weekend is Mother's day and we're heading back to Dauphin to celebrate.

Well spring is finally here! YAY!!!!!  The weather has been beautiful and it is so nice to get outside.  I love going for walks in my stroller, we can even walk to Baby Bumblebees now:)  We had our first one on Friday and my friend Dean came over and kissed me right on the lips!  I of course got very mad and cried...we'll see if he is brave enough to try again tomorrow.  I am getting more tricky everyday, I can stand up at all the furniture and reach all kinds of stuff I couldn't a few days ago....fun!  Mom is busy 'baby proofing' the house.  I had my 10 month check up yesterday and the doctor says I am doing great, I am 19lbs and 30" long.  Getting so big!!

I have discovered that Oscar is my new best friend.  I love to crawl around with him, and keep him company beside his kennel when he gets into trouble.  Don't worry Grandmas, Mom and Dad never leave by myself with him.  All he seems to do is lick me, and want to steal my toys.

You know it's Spring break when Easter has come and gone, Dad is home from work, and the beers are cracked.  It has been a great couple weeks here and in Dauphin. While in Dauphin for Easter I got lots of new gifts like my Caterpillar, Einstein Movies, clothes, books, and stuffed toys.  Since Dauphin I have learned to crawl as you know and things are much different at home now.  Mom is already thinking about the lake this summer when she bought me my first float suit, and Dad is home for a week for spring break as you can see he is sharing his beers with me.  Mom and dad say that it is project "Anna Proofing" the house week, so I'll let you know how that goes.

Happy Easter everybody!  Hope you all had a good weekend.  We sure did, we spent ours in Dauphin with my grandma's and grandpa and aunties, uncles and cousins...fun!  So I tried out crawling a few times on the weekend and when I woke up Monday morning I could do it.  The second clip is me first thing in the morning and the top one is me after I practiced all day.  I was even too busy to take my naps.

Well it has been a crazy couple of weeks. Two weekends ago, Feb 27, we all came to Dauphin because Dad had to work for the Parkland Honour band at Mackenzie Middle School. Grandma Schmidt helped out too and I even got to go and see the concert, they sounded great. Then Dad went back to Winnipeg all by himself and Mom, me and Oscar all stayed at Grandma Church's for the whole week. I got my first piano lesson from Grandma Schmidt and even got to go out to her school and help teach her music classes. She said that I did awesome. I also went and visited Grandma Church's work place and they all seem to know me really well and even called me 'your highness', wierd? I got to see my godmother Tommie one last time before she left for Nelson BC where she is going to go school. GOOD LUCK TOMMIE! Finally on Thursday we went out to Russell to pick up dad from his school ski trip at Asessippi. I was a grump that day and cried all the way to Roblin (more teeth I think), but when we picked up Dad I felt better and slept all the way home. This weekend we have already gone to two DRCSS Clipper hockey games, and tonight I get to hang out with Grandma Church because mom, dad and grandpa are going to the Kings game. While I have been here I think that I got another tooth for a total of four now, and they just keep coming in. I'm starting to think about crawling and waved good bye for the first time. This has been a awesome couple weeks and man have I been spoiled by my Grandmas and Grandpa. It's back to Winnipeg tomorrow and back to reality, Me, Mom and Oscar.
