This last weekend was a super busy one. First Dad, Mom, Oscar, Me and dad's volleyball team all travelled to Dauphin on friday morning. First thing Dad had to go and coach his volleyball team in the Dauphin Clipper Classic while mom and I hung out at Grandpa and Grandma Church's. Dad's team finished 3rd in the tournament on Saturday and then we went to Greatgrandpa Don and Greatgrandma Helen's wedding. It was a ton of fun and of course I was a great baby. Mom and dad had a blast and tons of help from everyone during the night. I slept that night at Grandma Tenley's where I slept in till 10:00 am. Dad was so greatful because I guess he had a bad headache for some reason. Then on sunday we had a Thanksgiving party at Uncle Rob and Patties where I got to see everyone one more time. That night I slept for the longest yet, almost 8 hours straight, from 3 am to 11 pm. What a crazy weekend, and now it's back to reality in Winnipeg.

Things at home are going good. My mom keeps on putting me on my stomach for what she calls "tummy time" and at first I hated it, but I think i'm getting good at it. Grandma and Grandpa Church have been visiting the last couple weekends, because Grandpa has been helping dad with building a new fence, and I think that Grandma can't be away from me longer than a week. Dad has been back at work for a month now and mom and I have been getting into a routine. Oscar continues to sniff and lick me, and I don't seem to mind. We are heading to Dauphin for Thanksgiving weekend for another party. Great Grandpa McDill is getting married and everyone is going to be there.

Mom and I have been hanging out lots lately since dad has gone back to work, so I thought I better start entertaining myself. I like hanging out on my pillow, standing up, and finding my thumb. We have been having lot of visits from Grandma and Grandpa Church and Grandma Tenley. I think they like me a little bit. This weekend Grandma and Grandpa Church are coming back to Winnipeg to help dad build a fence and of course see me. I'll let you know how that goes.

Oscar and I have been hanging out a lot lately. He always wants to sniff and lick but mom and dad save me everytime. I think he likes me, but I'm just too small still for him. This weekend was a lot of fun. Grandma Tenley, Auntie Jen, Auntie Mandy, and Anne Catherine from Germany came to visit me. We went and visited Auntie Bonnie, Great Grandma Audrey, and went out to supper at the Forks and I slept through the whole supper. I want to wish Anne Catherine a happy 16th tomorrow!

Well we are back in Winnipeg after one last long weekend at the lake. Dad had to go back to work on Tuesday so I have been hanging out with mom and Oscar lots. I am missing all my family and friends and mom is missing all of her helpers. Mom says I might have been a little spoiled this summer and now I like to be held and played with all day long, but my Grandmas' say you can't spoil me:)

It has been a peaceful week here at the Schmidt house. We have been hanging out all day together. My puppy Oscar is sick so mom and dad have been taking good care of him. I've been spending time practicing my 'Tummy Time'. Doctor Stan always says 'Back to sleep, Tummy to play, Change positions throughout the day'. I don't like being on my tummy unless I'm on my pillow, and we discovered that I like getting airplane rides from dad. I guess we're heading out to the lake for one last weekend before dad has to go back to work. I'll make sure mom and dad don't forget the camera this time. It was my Unlcle Jeff's birthday yesterday, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE JEFF!

I came back yesterday from yet another party. My mom's cousin Josh Church had a wedding reception in Brandon and of course I was very well behaved. I got to stay in a hotel with Grandma Church, Grandpa Church, and of course mom and dad. Grandpa Church brought me my 'Excersauser' which my Grandma Schmidt bought for me a while ago but mom and dad couldn't fit in the Focus. As you can see I'm still a little too small for it, but I think that I'm going to really really like it.

It was another lazy day in Winnipeg today. We hung out around the house and practiced my tummy time. As you can see I can get my head up, but now for long. Oscar went to the vet and his chin is all cleared up. He was so excited to visit the vet he came afterwards and had a 2 hour nap. His snoring is getting louder everyday, but luckily I can still sleep through it.

Sorry again for not keeping everyone in the loop, but mom and dad decided to go up to the lake for another week. On Sunday August 19 we had to come home because I had to go for my 2 month check up on Tuesday. Now I don't know what I did to my mom and dad up until now, but when I went to see the doc he checked my ears and then gave my two needles which I absolutely hated. I cried at first but I was ok once we got out of the office. The doc also told me that I am 11 lbs and 24 inches long, right on schedule. Mom and dad are telling me that we are sticking around Winnipeg for a while, so I will let you know how things are going.

27 and 2 Months

Yesterday my dad turned 27 and it was my 2 month birthday. We went over to Tamara's, one of mom and dad's friend, for a party. There were a few people there to help us celebrate. I was a great baby and didn't even throw a fit. Dad shared his beer with me and we had a awesome time. Tomorrow were thinking of heading back up to the lake, so I may not be around to let you know how things are going. It's my uncle Tannin's birthday tomorrow so before I go I want to wish him a happy birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE TANNIN!
