Sorry I've been gone for so long, but mom, dad, Oscar and I went up to the lake for a whole week. There is no TV, Radio or Internet up there, so we had some real bonding time. Dad is working lots up there, and mom is reading the new Harry Potter book to me. We're heading back up there on Monday August 13th.

While we were up at the lake on Thursday night, August 9, Dauphin got a crazy hail storm. All the cars, trees, houses, everything got smashed. We borrowed Grandma Tenley's truck to go up to the lake so our little Ford Focus got hammered.

It turns out that is my dog 1st birthday today. Oscar has made it through his first year of life, or 7 in human years. You can check out what he is up to at his blog on the side of my blog. Tomorrow is going to be a exciting day because I turn 2 months old and my dad turns 27. It's party time again! I'll let you know how is goes.

Happy Birthday Mom!!!!! Mom turned 26 yesterday, Aug 1, so her and dad are the same age for ten days. We just hung out at the house, made some potato salad, and watched some movies. I guess before I came around Mom used to be quite the party animal, but now things have changed.

Last weekend Uncle Jeff and Auntie Jen got married here in Winnipeg. Both mom and dad were in the wedding party, and I was a good girl all day. I stayed up that night at the reception till 2:30 am, and then slept through the night. I guess I got my mom's party genes.

This is the first week that it has been mom, dad, Anna, and Oscar and we're loving it.

I love my Cuddly Wrap

I'M HOME! I made it back home to Winnipeg from Dauphin with only one melt down. We had to stop just outside of Lundar so I could have something to eat, but that was it. I've been doing awesome at home. I slept in my own crib all night my first night, and I found out that I love my cuddly wrap. Mom puts me in there and does the dishes, laundry, and even has naps on the couch with me. It has just been wicked hot, 44 degrees Celsius with the humidex, so we have just been hanging out inside. At the same time we only got a couple days to get the house and yard back together before the weekend.

It's official dad is being put to work. I took a bottle from him like a champ, so that means that mom is free. Today is our last day in Dauphin and Grandma Church and Grandma Tenley are very sad. Uncle Jeff is getting married next saturday, July 28th, so we'll get to see everyone next weekend. Mom and dad hope the ride home is a smooth one. I'll keep you posted.

Well today was a great day until mom and dad decided to try and get my prints. You can say that I wasn't very cooperative but they did get the prints. Hockey school is finally over so dad is around all the time now. Time is winding down here is Dauphin were heading home in a couple days. I hope I remember what my home looks like.

Yesterday, Monday July 16th, I went to another party. This time I went to Auntie Jenn's wedding shower with mom and all the girls. You can see from the photos I'm quite the party girl. This is the last week of hockey school for Dad, and then were heading back to the city of Winnipeg.

Well Mom and I made through the first week of hockey school, and I did great. We had tons of help from everyone. We also discovered that I like a soother, which is awesome because then I don't have to use Mom as one. We have one more week of hockey school to go, and then we're going back home to Winnipeg for my Uncle Jeffery's wedding.

On Thursday July 6 I went to my first birthday party but it wasn't for me it was for my cousins Luke and Dean. Everyone came and we had a blast. Dad is starting Hockey School with Uncle Brad next week, so it is going to be me, Mom, and Oscar on our own. Wish us luck!

So far so good here in Dauphin. I had more uncles, aunts, and cousins show up yesterday. Uncle Brad, Auntie Kristen, Cousins Dean and Luke are hanging out in Dauphin for a couple of weeks. They really, really like me, and I'm going to have another new cousin in October. Today we are going to have a party for Luke and Dean and everyone is coming over to Grandma Church's house to party. I'm still doing really well at night because I sleep 4 or 5 hours at a time. Talk to you later.

It was Canada's 140th birthday today. We went out to mom and dad's cabin, not sure you would call it a cabin though, but it is really close to the lake. Great Aunt Kathy and Great Uncle Mike have a awesome place up there too. We went up to their place for supper. I spent the day getting passed around to all my aunts, uncles, grandmas, and grandpas, while Oscar spent the day running in and out of the lake. We're are not entirely sure if he can swim or not though. Mom and dad say that we're going to head up to our cabin for August. There are more Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins are coming tomorrow!!!
